2014 Events

 

15c wine university September 9th   2014

The next session of the wine university begins September 9th and continues for 6 weeks, Tuesday nights from 6-8 pm. The class is held at Clavo Cellars in downtown Templeton. Blind tasting, food pairings and all the major wine regions around the world will be covered. Certified sommelier Ali Rush Carscaden teaches the class and has taught at Cal Poly. Space is limited so sign up now!

 

Petal Club Tuesday 5:30-7:30 Thursday Sept 18th 
Katie Noonan is back with fresh flowers mixed in with grape wood branches. Enjoy summer on the patio at 15c while sipping bubbly. $60 per person, call for reservations.

 

The Vineyard Series Sept 27 10am-1pm

Its harvest time! Viticulture, winemaking and tasting all come together in a hands-on setting! Join Neil Roberts of Roberts Vineyard Services and Clavo Cellars and Ali Carscaden, owner & certified sommelier at 15c. Together the duo will discuss viticultural practices and wine tasting while they lead the group in a hike around the diverse Plum Orchards Vineyard on the West side of Templeton off Santa Rita Rd. The hike/tasting will last approximately 2 hours and will be followed by a catered buffet lunch of seasonal, local foods provided by 15c and, of course, more wine tasting in the old dairy barn.   $85 per person. Friday sept 5th and sept 13th Bear Market Riot.

Bear Market Riot is a power-folk trio from California's Central Coast featuring Kirk Nordby, Nick Motil, and Albert Sanudo. Blending folk, soul, blues and reggae sounds into an infectious acoustic vibe, the trio draws from the songwriting and influences of each member.

 

Sept 20th Matt Cross

Central Coast musician. Taking requests and playing all of your favorite tunes, literally! Matt Cross can play anything from the Beastie Boys to War, he is a big fan of audience participation so come out and request something from this human jukebox.

 

Sept 27th Ben Limpic

Young central coast indie singer songwriter is a fresh breath to the local scene. With influences that range from The Flying Burrito Brother Band to Elliott Smith this kid is one you need to keep an eye on!
