A 6-week [Tuesdays from 6-8pm] extensive course on the world of wine.  We will taste wines from all the major wine regions with university-level curriculum and powerpoint presentation.  The course will cover blind tasting, food pairing and give you an overview on the diversity of wine worldwide.

Sommariva | Prosecco NV | $14

Prosecco made from the grape of the same name in the region of Prosecco is one of the few wines that makes it easy to remember.  It is made in the charmat method producing a beautifully sparkling fresh, aperitif style of bubbles.

Domaine des Cassagnoles | Blanc 08 | $10

a great new porch pounder at only 12.5% alc.  This crisp, refreshing white wine is sure to beat the summer heat!  This wine is made from a rare and obscure white varietal, Gros Manseng!  A must try.

Borie la Vitarele | Les Terres Blanhes 07 | $17

a blend of syrah, grenache & carignan from a small producer in Saint Chinian.  Lots of blackberry fruit, sweet spices and chocolate.  A tremendous bang for your buck!
