15c November Newsletter...

Wow, I cant believe its already November!  Harvest is pretty much over and the Holidays are around the corner.  15c is staying busy with new and fresh events, guest chefs, new Thursday night food and a great diverse selection of new wines, beers, cheese and fun gifts!  We hope you will join us for these events as think of 15c for all your holiday shopping and entertaining supplies!

Thursday November 5 | The king of Alsace, Domaine Weinbach presented by Vineyard Brands and perfect pairings by Inn ParadisioThese wines are perfect for the holidays and it is a chance to taste Grand Cru Rieslings from not only one of the best producers in the world bu arguably the best region aside from Germany to produce these elegant, aromatic beauties.  Wine Flight $15, food sold separately.  5 to 7pm

Sunday Nov 8 | Annual Anti-Thanksgiving dinner at the Christmas Tree farm in Atascadero. Dinner starts at 4pm $85 per person, reservations required. There is still space so call now 805.434.1554

Thursday November 19 | Sushi Night with Chef Jeff Scott.  Order off a menu of amazing small plates with seafood provided by Pier 46 and watch Chef prepare ancient recipes right in front of your eyes! 5 to 7pm

November 20th | Jaffurs tasting with Dave YatesTaste the new releases from a favorite Santa Barbara winery.

November 25th | Thanksgiving eve Hours 9am to 7pm.  Come get all your supplies including wine pairings picked our by a Sommelier!

November 26th | CLOSED FOR Thanksgiving Day

November 28th | Giornata Release Party!  Come taste the new release wines from one of our favorite local couples.  Brian & Stephy Terrizzi (he makes the wine, she farms the vineyard)  grow some of the best domestic Italian varietals and will share them along with anti pasta and small Italian inspired bites.  6 to 8pm $15 per person.

Saturday Dec 5th | 15c will be celebrating their 2 year anniversary with their friends, good supporters & fellow industry! 6 to 9pm, by invitation

Saturday Dec 12th | Brown Bag Party, girls night out! It was so much fun we decided to do it again! $10 at the door provides champagne cocktails while you shop for Christmas gifts for your friends or your self.  6 to 9pm

Thursday December 17th | Feast of the 7 mars with Chef Jeff Scott5 small courses to celebrate the holiday paired with perfect wines.  $35 per person, 5 to 7pm

December 24th | Christmas Eve Hours 9am to 2pm

December 31 | New Years Eve Champagne & Caviar & oyster bar all day! Open 11am to 7pm

 

15C WINE UNIVERSITY #6

The 15c University is a six week long intensive course based on wine regions from around the world. The course covers every major country and wine-producing region while focusing on sensory evaluation and systematic wine tasting.

The course will help students expand their palate & vocabulary as well as decipher unique qualities of varietals and regions. Students will come away from the course with knowledge of how to evaluate wine as well as an understanding and respect for the diverse wine producing regions from around the world.

The class is every Tuesday night for 6 weeks starting in January 6 to 8pm. $350 per person.
