2009 Cabernet Sauvignon | Margarita Vineyard | Paso Robles | CA

The #1 selling wine in the shop is this incredible value Cabernet from the Santa Margarita Ranch. We can’t tell you all their secrets but the vineyard is the Southern most vineyard in the Paso AVA resulting in a cooler climate. The vineyard was planted in the 80’s by Mondavi and has matured beautifully. There are some rock star winemaking team involved and although it is an 07 vintage ii is drinking lovely right now or could age for a few years. There is deep small berry fruit with a balanced tannin and acid structure to hold up to hearty meat dishes.
