A super small production Chardonnay from a new producer focused on creating low-alcohol, Old World style Chardonnay with varietal typicity from the limestone soils of California's Sta. Rita Hills. With the help of the winemaking team at Dragonette Cellars, Liquid Farm created just two barrels of this Chardonnay (that's about 50 cases), raised in neutral oak, using fruit from the Kessler-Haak, Rita's Crown and Zotovich Family vineyards. The wine delivers, showing excellent balance and minerality, with apple and pear aromas and flavors freshened by a squeeze of lemon, with a soft, cinnamon spice undertone that accents rather than overpowers.
