Wine Advocate 91pts - 'The 2007 Grenache l’Ange Rouge exhibits a dark plum/garnet color that suggests plenty of evolution. The complex aromatics offer up notes of loamy soil intermixed with sweet and sour cherries, strawberry jam, tobacco leaf, and underbrush. It is a showy, spicy, peppery wine with outstanding ripeness, a round, lush texture, and plenty of glycerin (15.8% alcohol). Drink it over the next 2-3 years.' Aug 2009
