60% Tempranillo, 20% Grenache, 20% Carignan The Tempranillo was fermented 50% whole cluster and aged in new American and French barriques. Denner Grenache was aged in second fill French puncheons and Colombini Carignan aged in a selection of barriques to round out the blend. Aromatics of black fruits, tobacco, pineapple and caramel introduce a lively palate of red fruits, spice, and vanilla, moving into venison jerky, white pepper and soy. A modest tannin level gives the wine the ability to cellar nicely for 7-10 years.
